Nusa Dua bar guide and nightlife

The nightlife scene in Nusa Dua is a far cry from hectic Kuta and generally revolves around the hotel bar. There are some hotels with late night discos but these tend to be formal affairs and don’t really get going until the busy summer months. Many bars have live music or show sports action until late. Elsewhere Nusa Dua shopping mall has several lively bar restaurants which usually stay open until midnight. Better still is a pub crawl at nearby Bualu village which is home to some livelier places.

Youngsters intent on raging until dawn will find Nusa Dua pretty tame and will no doubt head to the fleshpots of Kuta and Seminyak for their late night kicks. Nyoman Beergarden
This is the nearest thing to a real neighbourhood bar in Nusa Dua and always a lively spot with a large crowd of regular expats. It shows live sports, there is a pool table and puts on occasional rock live music. It has a noisy atmosphere most nights but is generally good natured and friendly. King Cole Bar

Pica Pica

Quinn’s Bar
Despite its location in a five star hotel, this is an authentic looking Irish pub with a fun atmosphere. There are weekly pub quizzes, live bands each Sunday and early evening happy hours. It is a popular after work watering hole for many locals and drinks are relatively cheap for Nusa Dua standards. Walls are adorned with art and memorabilia from the Emerald Isle. Top Lounge
Primarily a noisy karaoke lounge and bar, this is the place to be for unpretentious late night dancing and cheap ice cold beer. Catering almost exclusively to locals, few tourists make it here but the vibe is always lively and fun loving. There is a pool table and big TV screen for live sports coverage.
